Bryon’s practice focuses on commercial litigation in state and federal court and arbitration proceedings before the American Arbitration Association and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). He also represents clients in regulatory matters, including investigations and proceedings brought by the SEC, FINRA and state accounting boards. Bryon represents a wide spectrum of clients including broker-dealers, registered investment advisors, registered representatives and other financial services professionals, including accountants, insurance agents and lawyers.  He also represents clients in shareholder disputes.

Bryon also represents clients in insurance coverage disputes involving policies covering commercial general liability, commercial property, professional errors and ommissions, and corporate directors and officers.  

Bryon’s litigation philosophy is based upon client-focused efficiency. He approaches cases with common sense and creativity. He believes in regular client communication and being responsive to client needs and concerns.

Bryon is a lifetime fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation. He is also an active member of the Financial Services Institute and the Independent Broker Dealer Consortium. He is a former board member and current advisory board member of Family Gateway, a Dallas non-profit serving children and families affected by homelessness. He is also an active member of First United Methodist Church-Dallas, serving on the Lay Leadership Committee.  He graduated (magna cum laude) from Texas A&M University School of Law.

  • Stutzman v. The Arabesque, Rainbow Yacht Adventures Limited, Charter Port BVI, Southern Trades Yacht Charters and Stephen Radcliff - Represented company based in British Virgin Islands in federal court in Texas. Obtained dismissal based upon lack of personal jurisdiction.
  • PSB, Inc. v. LIT Industrial Texas Limited Partnership, LIT PC, L.P. and Trammell Crow Dallas/Ft. Worth, LTD. - Represented landlord in suit with tenant involving claims brought by both parties.  Obtained summary judgment on all claims.  The judgment was upheld on appeal.
  • Brian Wildes v. Young Jun - Lead counsel in jury trial representing commercial landlord against former tenant.  Obtained judgment for full amount of past due rent and other charges.
  • C.M. Yater & Sons Manufacturing Jewelers, Inc. v. George Sheban and White Star Construction, Inc. - Lead counsel in bench trial representing defendants against attempt to pierce the corporate veil.
  • EEOC v. Allied Vista - Defended action brought by the EEOC alleging pattern and Practice of sec discrimination against firm with multi-state locations.
